Make Buyers Comfortable

You want your prospective purchasers to feel at home during the showing. Pay particular attention to the temperature and humidity levels in your home. Set your thermostat one or two degrees colder or warmer than what’s typical. If it’s a hot day, people should feel refreshed when they walk into your house. Use a dehumidifier in the basement if it’s susceptible to excess water, and pay attention that the home doesn’t feel too humid especially in the summer.

You don’t want to lose a sale by not being flexible. Make sure your house is spotless, vacuumed, and dusted before any showing. If possible keep pets that shed at a friend’s or family member’s home during the selling process.
